By the time you finish this course, you will have a clear idea of what it means to be a software developer, and what the challenges are. This is a good point to assess how far you could take this discipline for yourself. While some will be totally comfortable with programming full time, there will be many others that could do it, but might prefer something else - and there will be many more jobs where software development is a secondary requirement. As computing becomes ubiquitous, then need to be able to use computing at the software developer's level will become greater and greater. Consider bravely how you will fit into this new world, and you will go far.
